Our team work in community services, so we understand how hard it is to find and arrange quality training.
In-person training is difficult and expensive. Plus, there are all the extra costs on top, such as flights, hotels, meals and other expenses.
Understanding trauma, providing trauma-informed care and staying safe from vicarious trauma are essential skills.
Budgets shouldn't prevent anyone from increasing their knowledge.
It was so hard for us to arrange a time that worked for everyone, especially with rosters with clients needing help every day!
And even when we did find training, it wasn’t practical. Great in theory, but not very good for our team to put into practice afterwards
The week after training…it was like the training never even happened. We wanted short, sharp, practical training full of tips and tools.
So we looked for training like this…and you know what? We couldn’t find any!
